Jolie Box JULY 2012 Review!

I’m a little late to post about this but I definitely wanted to as I really love the contents of this box and wanted to share my thoughts on it with you!  The July box is all about ‘Summer Essentials’ and preparing yourself for the summer months ahead.

Etat Pur Pure Active Salicylic Acid 300 – This was the product I was most excited about when I first opened the box.  I am very prone to acne and blemishes if I am ill, stressed or if I use new products on my face.  At the time of receiving this box, I could feel THE biggest under the skin spot on my chin.  These kinda spots last for ages because they never rise quickly (they just stay like a massive lump under the skin which really hurts) and scar my skin pretty badly, leaving me with a red mark for a few months.  I tested this product out straight away, initally applying it three times a day to the blemish, and in just over a week the spot has now completely disappeared and has left me with the faintest mark which is easily coverable with concealer.  I will write a full review up of this product soon because it is amazing!

Jane Iredale Tantasia Self Tanner – This product is perfect for summer and for adding a bit of glow daily to your face or body.  I’ve been adding a tiny bit of this to my cheeks with a blusher brush and it adds the most subtle bronze sheen which I love.

Nailgirls Two Mini Polishes from the Medal Collection – I am a massive fan of metallic, shimmery polishes and these are gorgeous!  I love the fact that you get two shades in this box and I adore the bronze and gold colours; perfect for the Olympics in London!

Wen Sweet Almond and Mint Cleansing Conditioner – I took this away with me to my boy’s house last week to test out as it is the most perfect size for travelling.  This conditioner has a thick texture (which I love because it feels like it is really nourishing my hair) and smells lovely – very minty.  This left my hair soft and easy to brush through despite forgetting to bring a comb to comb through whilst the product was on.

Bonus product – Institut Esthederm Bronz Repair Anti Wrinkle Tanning Cream – I tested this out when I went for a picnic my local park last week.  Instead of using an SPF, I applied this all over my face and I didn’t get burnt at all (despite it being around 25 degrees!).  I’m not exactly sure how this works, but this cream protects your face and body from UVA and UVB rays without containing an SPF?  Crazy, but it must work.  The cream itself feels really luxurious and thick and didn’t bring me out in any spots which is fab!

What I Think – I really have to admit that I have never, EVER, received a bad beauty box from Jolie Box.  Everything included in all the boxes that have been sent by them have been exactly up my street and have been a pleasure to discover and use.  Jolie Box are quickly becoming my favourite beauty box out there and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the August edition.

What do you think about this Jolie Box?  Which is your current favourite beauty box out there?
