Kiehls Orange Blossom & Lychee Range

I’m a little bit obsessed with perfumes at the moment!  After reading The Perfume Lover (mentioned in my Jan Favs) all I find myself wanting to do is go down to Liberty or Selfridges Beauty Halls and smell perfumes all day… silly I know!

I recently fell in love with a fragrance in an unlikely store to find perfume in!  Kiehls are really well known for their incredible body and skincare products, but whilst browsing the shelves of their Covent Garden store (which I work dangerously close to, someone keep me away!) I picked up this, had a sniff and knew I had to have it.

The Orange Flower & Lychee range is just beautiful.  I usually go for quite woody, dark, sensual scents or sickly sweet smells so this is quite new to me.  The main accords in this fragrance are obviously lychee, orange, honey and Moroccan rose.  Kiehls say this is supposed to “recreate the atmosphere of late afternoon in a Moroccan garden” which I think is a lovely thought (I’m a big fan of Morocco after visiting two summers ago – post here!).  This perfume is initially a very sweet floral but settles as a subtle powdery smell.  I find this so easy to wear, it suits my mood for the day time (I prefer something a little more mysterious in the evening).

I’ve also been using the shower gel and body lotion also, which helps the fragrance last longer on my skin.  The three products together make a great pamper regime which I’ve really been enjoying!

I’ve also got my eye on the Vanilla and Cedarwood perfume from Kiehls – so check these both out next time you visit a store!

The perfume retails for £26, Shower Gel at £19 and Body Lotion at £24 – quite pricey and definitely a luxury but worth it for smelling delicious!

Have you tried Kiehls perfumes before?  What’s your favourite floral scent?
